Bev Cart Attendant/Event Bar
Position Summary:
As a Beverage Cart Attendant/Event Bar Staff member of Settlers Bay Golf Course you are an integral part of our customer service staff. In the business of recreation, the service staff is in place to help fulfill guest needs and assist in their overall enjoyment and experience. Settlers Bay Golf Course prides itself on the highest levels of customer service and guest satisfaction but without you, we would be unable to accommodate our guests accordingly. You are the bridge between guests and management as well as our course ambassadors.
Business Objective:
- Arrive on-time and ready to work in the proper uniform while meeting all hygiene and grooming requirements
- Provide outstanding and charismatic customer service to all persons contacted on property while completing all daily operational tasks
- Competently assist guests with questions regarding food and beverage menu selections and input selections correctly into POS; possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all events as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor to ensure guest satisfaction
Position Outline, Requirements, and Responsibilities:
- Provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverage service for our guests
- Proper stocking and rotation of beverages, garnishes, snacks, and ready to eat food
- Maintains product in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient promotion and sales of beverages
- Make recommendations, have working knowledge, and answer questions regarding all products of sale
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the event bar, beverage cart, and product and event storage
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to restaurant manager
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of beverage inventory and supplies
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
- Other restaurant tasks as required by management or leadership
- TAP and AK food workers card required
